Dr. Patrick J. Fullerton, Co-Founder: The Leukemia Needs Foundation

Dr. Fullerton graduated Nova Southeastern University with a doctorate degree
in Medicine with honors in 1997 and was accepted into the Dwight David
Eisenhower General Surgery Residency Program as a General Surgery Intern
located in Ft. Gordon, GA. In 1999, Dr. Fullerton was accepted into the
North Broward Hospital District's Family Medicine/Emergency Medicine Track
Residency Program at Broward General in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. While at
Broward General Level I Trauma and Medical Center, Dr. Fullerton gained
valuable experience on the Adult and Pediatric Trauma and Emergency Medicine
Team. He graduated the North Broward Hospital District's Residency program
with specialties in Emergency Medicine and Family Practice in June 2001.

Since 2001, Dr. Fullerton continues to practice Emergency Medicine full time
and volunteers on humanitarian medical missions abroad on a regular basis.
Since 2001, Dr. Fullerton has served on numerous trauma and medical center
physician staff, holding both active Family Practice and Emergency Medicine
privileges. He is a very dedicated, experienced physician with over 10,000
contact hours in the Emergency Department where he practices both Adult and
Pediatric Trauma and Emergency Medicine. He is board eligible in Emergency
Medicine with the American Board of Physician Specialties and board
certified in Family Medicine by the American College of Osteopathic Family
Practitioners.

Research interests include Autogolous Stem Cell applications in bone marrow transplants and Pre-Hospital Trauma Resuscitation specifically relating to exsanguinating hemorrhage and neurologic spinal cord trauma. Dr. Fullerton is a three time veteran of the US Army and has served as a combat medic, Army Captain, member of the 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne), and currently serves on active duty as a Medical Corps Officer as a Lieutenant Commander for the US Navy.

Dr. Fullerton is the co-founder of the Leukemia Needs Foundation with Mr.
James Weber and committed to assisting leukemia patients during their time
of need.
